#101: Hotmail users beware

Yahoo News just reported Hackers exposed hotmail accounts password.

Microsoft blocked access to thousands of Hotmail accounts in response to hackers plundering password information and posting it online.

Cyber-crooks evidently used "phishing" tactics to dupe users of Microsoft's free Web-based email service into revealing account and access information, according to the US technology giant.

phishing is process of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwoods and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy website.

If you have hotmail account, immediate change your password. Of course it's always a good practice to use strong password such as combination of letters (uppercase and lower case), numbers and even punctuations.
