221: what's with fridays

It's friday and I always wonder why traffic is so light in the morning. Does this means a lot of people just get's lazy on fridays? Incidentally, I remember a manager used to schedule meeting at 4:30pm on a friday so he won't get too much questions from his staff. People love to say TGIF and always dread Mondays. If we don't feel like working on a friday, aren't we supposed to say thank God it's Thursday. It's Friday and I am not making any sense.

220: Where did this came from?

I usually set my android to play random songs in my play list when I'm at the gym. Today I discovered this song "Best I Ever Had (grey sky morning)" from Vertical Horizon. I don't even know how this song end up in my music collection. Listen to it here and view a live video version here. Part of the lyrics made me pause and nod in agreement:

"So you sailed away,  Into a grey sky morning. Now I'm here to stay, Love can be so boring "

219: Omelet, how can I make thee

I can build a full blown Linux Web Server in 10 minutes. I can whip a quick SQL query. I can write a bash script while sleeping. But I can never make a perfect omelet. Tonight I tried again. It was all a mess. My consolation, Nadire liked it or at least I thought she did.

218: RARTFM

Whenever I say am a technical analyst, people always say "ah you fix computers". Well yes but it's more than that. As a Technical Analyst, I solve complex technical issues. I would think of myself as an Investigator. Much like the CSI but instead of solving gory crimes, I solve technology issues. My job requires deep thinking and countless hours of sifting through vague documentations searching for answers. I have countless failures but I have my sweet victories as well. And each victory is always satisfying.

So how do I do it? My simple solution is RTFM or i should say RARTFM.
